Sunday's action saw a quickfire qualifying session take place on Sunday morning, before a 200km race rounded out the 2025 edition of the Darwin Triple Crown.
The final day of racing in the Northern Territory saw both drivers narrowly miss out on a Top 10 Shootout.
From there, there was work to do for both the #17 and #38 Shell V-Power Mustangs in the sapping Darwin heat.
A mistake from Kostecki heading into turn one would see him fall down the order, before that strong race pace which has been on show in recent rounds shone through, with Kostecki making his way through the field and finish in 11th.
For Davison, it was a difficult day after a 15-second penalty saw him fall to the back of the field following the second round of pit stops. Davison also was forced to manage a small issue with his car which saw him end the day in 23rd.
