Shell V-Power Racing Team takes on convenient new look

September 5, 2025

The Shell V-Power Racing Team will showcase a brand new livery at this year’s first endurance race at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park.

The iconic Shell pecten will be replaced by the OTR branding on the bonnet of both Shell V-Power Mustangs to celebrate the OTR and Shell connection across Australia.

The OTR brand - representing one of Australia’s fastest-growing convenience brands – originated in South Australia and is now expanding across the country, proudly offering Shell fuels across its national network.

The familiar Shell V-Power colours will continue to be showcased across other parts of the car, before returning for the Repco Bathurst 1000 in October.

Shell V-Power Racing Team CEO David Noble said everyone in the workshop was proud to be showcasing the OTR brand at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park for the start of the enduro season.

“This fresh, new look will certainly stand out on track and we’re excited to see the cars roll out for the next round at one of the newest permanent motorsport facilities in Australia,” Noble said.

“We’re incredibly grateful and appreciative to the entire team at Viva Energy for their loyalty to our team and the broader Dick Johnson Racing family. We can’t wait to see the OTR brand out on track in just a few days’ time.”

Viva Energy Australia General Manager Customer & Marketing Andrew Egan echoed Noble’s sentiments.

“This livery update celebrates the powerful new partnership between two trusted brands, delivering premium fuel and convenience to more Australians than ever,” Egan said.

“The Shell V-Power Mustangs look fantastic and we’re looking forward to 500km of racing at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park in the coming days.”

OTR is proudly owned by Viva Energy, the official licensee of Shell in Australia and the company behind the Shell V-Power, OTR, and Reddy Express brands.

Shell V-Power remains the naming rights partner of the Shell V-Power Racing Team and a cornerstone of its motorsport program.

This weekend’s livery is a celebration of Viva Energy’s broader brand network and its commitment to showcasing the strength of its nationwide portfolio.

The next round of the Repco Supercars Championship takes place at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park in South Australia on 12-14 September.
