Brodie Kostecki and Rylan Gray have taken the chequered flag for the first time in 2026 at the Repco Supercars Championship season opener.
It was an energetic start to the season for both Shell V-Power Mustang pilots, with some impressive moves throughout the 26 lap encounter.
A 5 second penalty issued to Kostecki earlier in the race would ultimately stymie his progression through the field - however the #17 looked like he had plenty of pace throughout the race to improve in the weekend's final two races on Saturday and Sunday.
