Shell V-Power Racing Team's Brodie Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood will start from pole position in the great race - the 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000.
The #38 Shell V-Power Mustang was last out on track in the Top 10 Shootout and Kostecki made no mistake in setting a blistering pace to guarantee a pole position start for Sunday's 1000km iconic race around Mount Panorama.
Kostecki was understandably thrilled with the result.
"It's just amazing honestly, that in lap was something special seeing all the fans, and getting all the cheers over the fence," said Kostecki, who claimed his fourth pole of the season.
"I could definitely see a lot of DJR fans and Shell V-Power fans, and a lot of Ford fans out there, so I hope you cheer us on tomorrow.
"We're starting off the best possible spot we can, so can't wait to share the car with Toddy [Hazelwood, co-driver] tomorrow."
Sunday's Repco Bathurst 1000 begins at 11.45am AEDT.
