The Shell V-Power Racing Team has begun its 2026 New Zealand double-header in strong fashion, with both drivers putting in impressive Fridays.
With only two short back-to-back sessions, both drivers put in some strong sectors - Kostecki sitting in the top three across both practice outings.

The weather:
Saturday and Sunday's schedule have already been tweaked, with a cyclone bearing down on New Zealand's north island. With heavy rain and wind forecast for Sunday, the schedule now includes one short and one long race on Saturday, with a morning shorter race scheduled for Sunday.
