Jim Beam Racing announces 2010 Endurance Team
09 February 2010
Jim Beam Racing has today confirmed that Warren Luff and Marcus Marshall will join Steven Johnson and James Courtney as the endurance team for the 2010 V8 Supercar Championship Season.
While the actual driver pairings will not be determined until later in the year, the line up is one of the strongest endurance teams ever seen at Jim Beam Racing.
Warren Luff heads into his third straight year with the team after finishing 6th in the L& H 500 at Phillip Island with Jonathon Webb. This year will be Luff’s 5th endurance campaign with the Team after racing in 2003, 2004, 2008 and 2009.
Marcus Marshall will be making his first appearance in 2010 with Jim Beam Racing and brings plenty of experience with previous full time drives in the V8 Supercar Championship Series, Carrera Cup, Formula Ford and British Formula 3.
“This is one of the strongest endurance teams that JBR has put together for this years campaign” said JBR Sporting Director Adrian Burgess.

“Getting the boys locked in now means we can work on ensuring that they have time in our race cars and are as prepared as they can possibly be.”
With Dick Johnson Racing partnering with Jonathon Webb to prepare car 19 for his “rookie” year in the Championship, Webb today announced that he will drive with his former rival from the 2009 Fujitsu Development Series David Russell.
Russell finished in third place behind Webb in 2009 and is a strong and centred competitor which will compliment Webb in their first endurance campaign.
All three endurance drivers had valuable track time today at the first official test day for the 2010 V8 Supercar Championship Season at Queensland Raceway.
